Let’s take a look at this white and gold wedding at the Grand Bohemian hotel in Charlotte, North Carolina!
About the Grand Bohemian
The Grand Bohemian is located in uptown Charlotte, North Carolina. This is the venue for those who are looking for a bit of glamour and luxury. Stay at the hotel with your guests for extra convenience – especially if you are planning a destination wedding. There are multiple locations onsite to host all aspects of your wedding day. You can choose to host your ceremony and reception at the hotel or select only the reception.
Many of the couples I work with who plan their wedding here, love the unique look of the space. The Argentinian-inspired hotel adds an elegant twist to the boho style. When you host your wedding at the Grand Bohemian, booking elements like your caterer and rentals are made easy. There is onsite options for both! Getting Ready
The couple got ready for the day with their wedding party members. They decided to save their first look for the aisle but, that doesn’t mean that this portion of the day lacked a first look. The bride shared this moment with her father after getting ready for the day. Family member and friend first looks are just as heartfelt!
During this time, I also got creative, snapping some photos of the details. You can find a little sneak peek into the wedding decor from these aspects. After everybody got ready, it was time to head off to the ceremony.
Church Ceremony
This couple opted for a traditional church ceremony. Pro tip from a photographer: Account for travel time in your timeline for the wedding when multiple locations are involved. That way, you and your guest won’t feel rushed and transitions in the day will go smoothly. Look how joyful these newlyweds were after saying their “I dos”!
Wedding Party & Couple Photos
After the ceremony, I snapped photos of the wedding party and couple at Midtown Park in Charlotte. This group genuinely enjoyed this time together and it translates into the resulting photography! The couple’s joy was contagious.
Reception Decor
Now it is time for the reception at the Grand Bohemian! This white and gold decor proves that neutrals are timeless and interesting. This decor is also evergreen suiting any season. I particularly love this vision for a fall or winter wedding, however.
The couple took a moment alone to see the completed reception space for the first time. They also shared a private dance for a sweet addition to the day. Then, it was time to enjoy cocktail hour and dinner!
The Party
This wedding dance floor deserves its own section in this blog. The bride and groom knew how to party! They had a blast with their guests, dancing the night away.
