I remember driving up to the location of this rural Charlotte engagement session, thinking how much it reminded me of the eastern shore of Maryland. Fields for miles, rolling hills (okay, so that part is NOT reminiscent of Maryland, lol), just a beautiful place to be…and just north of Charlotte. Funny how there are so many gems to be found here even after we’ve been in this area for 7 years. I had to remind myself to keep my eyes on the road and not out the window daydreaming about all the things I could shoot in those fields! By the time I arrived at The Farm at Brusharbor, I was in love. Certainly it was love at first sight…and to be lucky enough to get to shoot Amanda and Joey’s summer 2015 wedding here too, I’m one happy little photographer 😉
I didn’t hold it against Joey that he is a Patriots fan. Even the best of us can have our weaknesses, right? We really had so much fun walking around the farm’s plentiful grounds and even getting a little dirty in the fields! I can’t wait to see what they have planned for me in July…it’s sure to be a fun day 🙂
