They had their first date and first kiss there, where else could Kelly and Corey have shared their vows? The Carolina Ale House was also the place that made them feel at home when they moved to the Charlotte area. When they started looking for wedding venues they just couldn’t look any further!
They took a space and made it so very theirs. The patio of the Ale House was decorated in Kelly’s favorite flower, the sunflower. During the ceremony that her brother officiated Kelly was described as having a sunny and exuberant personality, one that was personified perfectly by the sunflowers everyone carried on the wedding day.
Sunny can also be used to describe the gorgeous weather we enjoyed throughout the day, although sometimes hot…it was certainly a photographer’s dream. With all of the festivities happening outdoor, it was a rare occurrence to have the full day of sun to use to our advantage. I very much enjoyed getting to explore the Kingsley area and pond.
The joyful celebration continued into the evening with a live band and even a few fireflies! Cupcake and champagne toasts surrounded the bride and groom in kind words from loved ones before they made their way through a salute of sparklers and into the night as MR & MRS!
