Photographing high school seniors, or teens in general is like stepping back into my past. I love their enthusiasm, and the joy at which they conquer life. Myself, I feel like I’m perpetually 24 thanks to my childish sense of humor and inability to admit I’m a mom of two kids that are growing older at an alarming rate. So, to be around young teens who are about to take on “the rest of their life” is refreshing and an absolute joy!
Amelia was lovely to work with. She brought her ROTC ballgown, as well as another, more casual outfit. We met up in Belmont, NC because I just love the small town feel to the beautiful main street area. I was so excited when I saw her dress, and knowing that area well, I took her immediately to a beautiful window that I knew would showcase her in a very “teen vogue” way. That’s important to me…to know that I am providing my clients with something that makes them feel good, and beautiful and maybe a little beyond their years?
