My first wedding at the gorgeous Laboratory Mill wedding venue was this past summer when I had the chance to second shoot for Riette at Clearly Perceived Photography. I know that it might seem silly that as a wedding photographer myself I would continue to second shoot for other wedding photographers…but the truth is that I LOVE second shooting. When you are a second shooter you have the ability to simply record the day without being in charge of any of the intricacies that go along with being a primary wedding photographer. I didn’t have to scout locations, make timing decisions or tell people how to line up. It is always nice when I can just be there to help my fellow photographer get the best out of her day!
