This was not going to be possible to do in one post. There was no way that I could do this North Carolina mountain vineyard wedding justice in one post…and still keep your attention 🙂
Kelly & Quint were married in the mountains of North Carolina surrounded by family and friends and a whole lotta love. You could feel it in the room and in the smiles that everyone wore for 2 full days. Two days that were rainy…but warm nonetheless. Kelly didn’t let the weather dampen her spirits and there is nothing I like more than a bride that knows how to throw a good party and keep a smile on her face!
First, the welcome dinner. What an amazing night. I loved being there to photograph everyone as they arrived and to see their faces as they took in the beautiful views that The Vineyard at 37 High Holly has to offer. We were lucky to have only a faint drizzle for most of the evening, so the guests were able to venture outside, visit the livestock and walk through the beautiful blooms. Another advantage of arriving early to a destination wedding and photographing the welcome dinner…I got to know the guests a bit! Usually I have become comfortable with the bride/groom and maybe the bridal party by the time the wedding day rolls around, but in this case I was able to spend the evening laughing and learning more about the most important people in Kelly & Quint’s lives. It was priceless and it made the wedding day even more special for me.
