Hi there! Welcome to the  journal about our lives, travels, fashion, and style. Stay a while and say hello!

Hi, I'm Amy.

Every single time I write Uptown now, a little Bruno Mars hops right into my head and finishes my thoughts with a certain song…you may have heard.  GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!!
Anyway – Amie and Mike brought their own brand of funk to this Uptown Charlotte engagement session.  When I met with them they told me how much they loved my style, and that they wanted their engagement session to be fun, free, and nothing stuffy.  We really had a lot of fun hopping around from city, to historic park, to light rail, to finally finding ourselves trekking to the top of an apartment building for some skyline shots.

They have such a beautiful story, and their engagement is one that I am jealous of 😉  Amie even made a sweet video to remember it by: http://vimeo.com/108560364

I cannot wait to celebrate their wedding in April.  I know it is going to be a great time with really good people!
