THE  WEDDING GUIDE

Keep your wedding day running on track with some of my top tips for a stress-free day!

When it comes to engagement sessions, the location is one of my favorite decisions to make. Unlike the wedding photos that are limited by the couple’s chosen venue, engagement photos can be made just about anywhere.  It is highly individual though, a lot of times the couple will have an idea of just how they want the images to come across, either rustic or classic, or silly.  It also depends on how the photos will be used.  Do they plan to send out a save-the-date, or will they just be making a small album or gifting some prints.  Looooots of wiggle room 🙂 When I met with Misty and Travis and we discussed their engagement photos they immediately told me they had the perfect location already picked out and ready to go!  The best part was that I was JUST at this location a few weeks prior checking it out for a future wedding.  It couldn’t have been more perfect.  Misty is a self-proclaimed “country” girl and Travis would do anything to move Uptown.  I think the two locations they chose had a good mix for an uptown engagement session 🙂  AND, as a bonus they brought their sweet little one for a few family portraits…because she is just as excited about the wedding as her mama!!!
