This is a little different from my typical post, although not truly if you look closely. A baptism is a family event that has a getting ready, ceremony and then reception…so, a smaller scale than a wedding for a tiny human. We started this one at home with little Mr. B getting ready in his beautiful nursery (seriously–how beautiful?!?). I absolutely loved the soft blue and gray of his nursery and how cute is the family all together? Even the pup wanted to be included.
Once we moved onto the ceremony at St. Matthew Catholic Church I was in observe and document mode. It was so nice to see the special smiles, laughs and even a few cries. This perfect little guy is MORE than loved by his family and friends. The reception was impeccable, decorated as you might even expect a wedding reception! Held at Firethorne Country Club, the family gathered to celebrate their newest addition and his life in the church. B’s mama Nicole did an absolutely amazing job with the decor and everyone was talking about how beautiful the whole event turned out. I truly enjoyed witnessing such an important day for such a handsome young man and his loving family.
