So, first, I’m just going to admit something. When I moved south (yes, GASP! I’m a yankee) I had no clue what a bridal session was or why my clients were asking for them! Being new to the Charlotte wedding photographer community…and the area in general meant that I needed to study up on the different social norms that influenced photography. I’ve since become accustomed to this tradition, and have come to love that time with my brides. Who wouldn’t love to have an entire session dedicated to just recording how gorgeous a bride looks when she puts on her gown? The wedding day can get so hectic at times and so I cherish this time with my brides. They are able to try out their wedding look to make sure it all falls in line with their dreams, and I am able to get a preview of whats to come on the wedding day!!!
Okay. Now back to what I was planning to say! This is Amanda! She was just married just outside of Charlotte last weekend in a gorgeous ceremony at The Farm at Brusharbor. We got together back in May so that I could photograph her bridals at Glencairn Garden before it became a complete steam bath outside. Shooting at Glencairn is always nice since I do know it so well and have quite the little system down 🙂 I think it provides a stunning backdrop for bridal sessions especially. Amanda was beautiful in her Casablanca gown from Poffie Girls and even dodged a few errant geese that decided to make a fly by during the session! I just loved her classic look and can’t wait to share her wedding photography with you!
