Extended Family Fun {Charlotte Family Photographer}

I have family all over the country.  Many people are the same, they live here and their loved ones live elsewhere, only to visit a few times per year…at most.  The Peck and Bryan families are a prime example of this.  They live in different states (North Carolina and Nebraska) and were together over the holidays.  That’s where I come into play!  I had the pleasure of capturing some family memories so that they can remember this time together and smile as the look at their walls when they can’t be together throughout the year.

We met up at the McDowell Nature Preserve on Lake Wylie on a moody Saturday afternoon.  The sun was playing hide and seek all afternoon, but luckily we didn’t have any worse than some gray clouds to overcome.  The Nature Preserve is one of my favorite local spots to go with my own family, I love how it is right on the Lake and has plenty of trails to explore but also has a clear waterfront area that is perfect for an afternoon picnic.  It’s always nice to get outside!
