Sister Love {Charlotte Family Photographer}

You know how sometimes when you talk to someone you can tell that you like them?  Well it was like that when Chelsi contacted me about helping her and her sister Paige surprise their Mom with the perfect Christmas gift.  The sisters are originally from New York and have both moved down here to Charlotte  for college.  They told me that their Mom would have their pictures taken every year as they were growing up and loved to fill her walls with portraits of the two of them.  So sweet…so like a Mom, right?  I remember protesting every.single.time my Mom (or Grandmom) would dress my brother and I up and march us into Olan Mills for our annual picture.  If I would have only known then how precious a picture can be.
So Chelsi told me that they hadn’t had the chance to get any portraits done of the two of them since they had both graduated high school and moved away from home, and she knew her Mom would be absolutely thrilled if they did something like that for her.  She really wanted to replace a photo that has been hanging over their parent’s mantle for several years now and is clearly outdated.  We decided we would visit Freedom Park in Charlotte for the session; it is one of my favorites!  So large and always full of life.  We had a great time walking, talking, even rock climbing!  Both Paige and Chelsi were so much fun to be around, they obviously love each other and their parents very much.  I don’t have a sister, but if I did I would have wanted to have the type of bond that these two share!
