As you can probably imagine, I take a great number of photos in any given month. I am especially fond of taking portraits of my own children, as they are my little muses. They inspire my creativity and help me to work on my skills as a photographer. I grow every day with every picture I take and most days I have them to thank for sticking with me and letting me subject them to “just one more picture.” Because of this I have decided to post a collection each month of my favorite personal images. These may have already been posted on my Facebook page…but I want them here as a way to gather them and show as one collection each month. I guess it is a little pet project of mine, to be conscious of my heart work…the work that I’m not getting paid for, because it has no monetary value. I know that some of you reading this may have heard me going on about how important photos are, and how one day that is all we have left to prove that we were there. That they were THIS little. So I’m going to follow my own advice (for once) and start doing something with the mountains of images I capture of my precious children. One day I want them to see that they were there, and so was I…just a few steps behind.
