BriAnna and Jason traveled from San Diego and we were able to spend two beautiful days exploring all that North Carolina has to offer. The first part of their engagement session was spent on Lake Norman, and for the second evening we drove a bit further out to a gorgeous sunflower field in full bloom. The rain threatened us, but we were extremely lucky and had the perfect evening and sunset.
BriAnna is nothing if not well prepared, and she brought with her a custom sign to announce their summer 2019 wedding date, along with jumbo balloons and we even popped champagne to celebrate. That was one of my favorite moments! Jason has family here in North Carolina and we were able to meet at the session as well…I’m really looking forward to seeing them again in June!
Although the fields were crowded with other people enjoying the limited time we have during a bloom, we were able to find little spots all to ourselves. Jason and BriAnna could hardly keep from smiling while we walked, ran and sat in a literal field of dreams!
