All of the festivities leading up to the wedding day are incredibly exciting! From engagement photos to spending time with your bridal party, there is so much to enjoy before your wedding day arrives. As a wedding photographer, I often work with each couple throughout these special moments.
Today, we are taking a virtual trip to Separk Mansion in Charlotte for a summer bridal brunch! If are looking for something a little more unique than the typical bachelorette weekend, you might consider a cute bridal brunch! This is also a great surprise the week of the wedding. Maybe you and your bridesmaids enjoy mimosas and then pamper yourself at the spa to get ready for your big day.
This bridal brunch is filled with bright orange, green, and pink colors to celebrate the season. I love the feminine and cheerful design that effortlessly complements the indoor-outdoor venue. Ready to see more details from this day? Keep reading!
Separk Mansion
We need to talk about the location for this event before we begin. Separk Mansion provides the ultimate luxury private estate experience. The venue typically hosts weddings but offered the perfect backdrop for this bridal brunch! From the garden to ballrooms, there are plenty of locations to host your next Charlotte event.
Outdoor Brunch
To kick off this brunch party idea, the bride and bridesmaids celebrated outdoors at a colorful table. Tip from a wedding photographer: gather inspiration from your surroundings for any design. This tablescape highlighted the seafoam green roof with bold colors. To remain on theme, each place setting included a fresh lime wedge and teacup. The use of seasonal fruit was so creative! I always make sure to capture the details before celebrations begin. Check out how lovely this design turned out!
Fresh Florals & Glam
One way to make the bride feel extra special is scheduling a hair and makeup appointment for their bridal brunch. The bride got glammed up to spend time with her bridesmaids and take photos. If you want to focus on photography, you may also decide to bring a change of clothes to capture different moments throughout the day. Maybe you combine your bridal brunch with a photoshoot!
This bride began the day with a dusty blue romper and then transitioned into a more formal lace dress. She was also gifted with a fresh floral bouquet to match the table decor. Be sure to dry florals from moments like this leading up to the wedding as keepsakes.
The Cake
This two-tier watercolor cake was almost too pretty to eat! Along with refreshing fruit, this cake was a delicious sweet treat for the bride and bridesmaids to enjoy. Plus, it was the final piece to this design vision.
The group enjoyed one final drink to end another fantastic day before the wedding!
Cheers! I hope you enjoyed taking a look at this summer bridal brunch idea at Separk Mansion. If you are looking for more North Carolina wedding venue ideas, be sure to take a virtual tour of the Asheville Biltmore Estate next!
