Sweet seven year-old boy in sunflowers! | Charlotte family photographer

I am in awe of this adorable little man.  His seventh birthday was just this past Tuesday…so naturally his momma wanted some updated portraits to show off his personality!  I was excited that the timing worked out perfectly for us to plan an evening in an absolutely enchanting field of sunflowers…a field that is only in bloom for about 10 days each year about 20 minutes outside of Charlotte in Draper, South Carolina.
Chandler is a big fan of minecraft, which I gather is a pretty big deal…although my kids are not at that point (yet).  We incorporated his minecraft sword and he defended us valiantly from the bumble bees amongst the flowers 😉  I absolutely LOVE to include small touches in a portrait session that help to showcase someone’s personality…everyone deserves a moment to shine and when I came home and looked through my images from the evening it was clear that I had captured the real Chandler.  He is energetic, smart, thoughtful and so very handsome….and I think these images exhibit all of those wonderful qualities of this 7 year old sweet boy!
