“A butterfly to remind me even though we are apart, your spirit is always with me, forever in my heart.” Alicia may have lost her mother at a young age, but we were certain that she was there in spirit with us on the wedding day. Many times during the day we would look over and be surprised to see a butterfly hanging nearby. We caught a few photos of it and it was amazing! A caricature artist helped everyone remember the night.
Alicia & Chuck giggled the whole day. They were surrounded by friends and family who told stories about how perfect they were for each other and how much love there was holding them up. Joining into a family, Chuck treats Alicia’s sons just as his own and it definitely showed. Bryce and Blaine were the lives of the party! The couple met through mutual friends, and took their time as just friends before committing to a relationship. That helped to form a strong bond that has carried them to this beautiful wedding day full of love and laughter. Many hugs, cheers and even some sweet tears by family members from near and far, one of my favorite moments is the sweet hug Alicia shared with her maternal grandmother who came all the way from Texas to be there for the couple. Alicia remembers that as one of her favorite wedding day moments also.
I loved how this couple seemed to laugh through it all, even their first look was full of huge laughs! Don’t underestimate joy on your wedding day…it doesn’t all have to be all serious romance and tears. Laughter is truly the best!
