Mother Nature had quite the sense of humor in the spring this year. One day we were loving the warm weather, and the next it was snowing! It might have been a bit of an inconvenience, but I’ve never been so happy that weather interfered. The lovely spring blooms and gorgeous sunset would never have been possible if we wouldn’t have had to change our original date for Maria & Angelo’s Ivy Place engagement photos.
I know that sometimes engagement photos get a bad rep with guys…I very very rarely meet a future husband that is overjoyed at the prospect of taking more pictures. But let me tell you this, I will not torture you! Engagement photos are the best way to get comfortable in front of my camera and for me to learn how to make you comfortable. This is SO important for the wedding day. Once you’ve had your engagement photos you can be sure that I will know exactly how to make you laugh and we will know enough about each other that your wedding day will breeze right by without any of those awkward moments 😉
Maria and Angelo wanted an engagement session that showcased their love for being outdoors, but also, obviously, their love for each other. I think that we accomplished both! They had amazing weather and the beautiful grounds at The Ivy Place provided a stunning backdrop for me to tell their story. We walked around, danced, even laid down under the setting sun. Basically, the perfect engagement session if you ask me!
Thank you Maria & Angelo and I can’t wait for your wedding this fall!!!!
