It seems to be a bit of a trend these days, but this engagement session had to be rescheduled once due to thunderstorms and tornado warnings, and then almost again on the day of the session because of another thunderstorm that was threatening to ruin our time. Thankfully, I have a little bit of good luck because no sooner did I pull out onto the highway to head home, the rain started pouring down.
Lauren and Michael are so great together. You can tell just how much they LIKE each other and enjoy being around each other (even outside in a fairly humid day). It was so nice to see them laughing through the inevitable awkward first few moments. Those moments when you realize someone has a giant camera pointed at you…and you are doing this voluntarily.
We walked around the property at Treehouse Vineyards and found so many beautiful places to stop. Open fields with wildflowers, dirt roads and even a few friends along the way. It was such a nice surprise when we walked through the vineyards and were greeted by two beautiful horses having a snack!
I can’t wait to see Lauren and Michael again for their September Foundation for the Carolinas wedding!
